Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using squadem.ai and the squadem browser extension (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Description of services
SQUADEM LLC provides on-device AI tools including text anonymization, prompt optimization, and text humanization. These tools run locally in your browser and do not transmit your content to our servers.
Use of services
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Services to process content that violates any applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our models
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Services or any part of them
- Use the Services to circumvent security measures of third-party platforms
Intellectual property
All models, algorithms, code, and content provided through the Services are the intellectual property of SQUADEM LLC. The Services are licensed, not sold. You retain ownership of any text you process through our tools.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the anonymizer will detect all personally identifiable information. You are responsible for reviewing output before sharing it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SQUADEM LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to data exposure resulting from undetected PII.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
Changes to terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
